Andrew Queen has been entertaining families for more than a decade. He was voted Canada’s Favourite Children’s Artist at the 2011 Canadian Independent Music Awards. Andrew has worked as an elementary school teacher for more than twenty years and is music-certified.

Karen Stille established her career in the non-profit sector  developing and facilitating educational and recreational programs for children and families. She adds her vocals and percussion to the Campfire Crew while leading the audience in wacky actions.

Together they have produced three children’s albums. Too Tall received a Parents’ Choice Award and won Children’s Album of the Year from the Canadian Folk Music Awards (CFMA). GROW also received a Parents’ Choice Award and was a CFMA nominee in 2012.

Andrew and Karen live in Campbellford, Ontario, where they raise their two free-range sons, try to grow and preserve more of their own food each year, and enjoy regular campfires in the backyard.

Award-winning family folkster Andrew "Too Tall" Queen has teamed up with his life partner and co-songwriter, Karen Stille, to offer campfire-themed concerts for audiences of all ages. Both Queen and Stille had the privilege of experiencing the magic and joy of summer camp as children and later as camp leaders. They now strive to bring old campfire favourites back to life and create original kids' music that inspires silliness and singing. They also aim to engage audiences in meaningful dialogue about community and kindness.
